The festive season has arrived and we’re more than a little excited to celebrate the holiday season and all the goodies that come with it.
Take the stress out of hosting your festive celebration for family and friends with a takeaway turkey from Mellow Café at Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan. The plump festive favourite is cooked to perfection and served with a trio of tasty trimmings and sensational sides. Select from rosemary new potatoes, roasted Brussel sprouts, sweet potato mash, roasted pumpkin, honey-glazed vegetables, braised red cabbage, and green beans with almonds. The perfectly prepared turkey is available in three sizes and is accompanied by a sauce of your choice – cranberry, creamy chestnut or homemade gravy. Turkeys are available to order from Sunday 28 November, for collection from Friday 10 December. AED 400 (3kg to 4kg), AED 500 (5kg to 6kg) and AED 600 (6kg to 7kg). Better yet, a 20% early bird discount can be availed on all orders placed before Monday 20 of December.
Not a fan of turkey? Mellow Café is also stocked with a wide range of festive treats to be enjoyed with your loved ones this festive season. The sweet sensations include Stollen (AED 220 for 500g), Christmas pudding (AED 50), chocolate panettone (AED 94), chocolate, strawberry or vanilla Yule log (AED 125 for 1kg) and Christmas Cookes (AED 38 for 100g).
Situated in the heart of Abu Dhabi, Mellow Café is a causal spot bathed in natural light that’s ideal for business meetings, catch-ups over cake or a convenient place to grab your morning coffee. Looking to spread festive cheer this Christmas, the cosy cafe have launched a ‘Santa’s Sleigh’ initiative. The charitable effort is looking to fill a sleigh with gifts to help underprivileged children and you can participate by donating a wrapped gift into the sleigh located at the entrance of Mellow café. These will then be distributed over the festive season to children in need.
Elsewhere in the hotel, Pepper Restaurant will hold a festive feast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Themed around ‘White Christmas’ the generous buffet will be chock-full of seasonal favourites such as smoked salmon, shrimp pyramid, beef carpaccio, mac n cheese oven-roasted turkey, Christmas pudding and mince pies. The buffet is available on Friday 24 December, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm and Saturday 25 December, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The hotel will continue the seasonal celebrations well into 2022 with a Gatsby-themed New Year’s Eve celebration, featuring live entertainment and a lavish buffet at Pepper restaurant.
