Yas Winter Fest promises Abu Dhabi’s grandest winter celebration

Snow, Santa, and spectacular surprises await your arrival.

Prepare to wrap yourselves in festive cheer, as Yas Winter Fest makes its return to the capital. Taking place at the Yas Island Gateway Park South from 6 to 10 December, the Yas Winter Fest promises a winter wonderland for all ages.

Frolic in an artificial Snow Zone with exhilarating snow-inspired activities or make your way over to the North Pole Zone for a chance to write and post a letter to Santa. You can also get some photos for the gram as you explore Santa’s workshop, where ornament decorating, crafts, and gingerbread decorating are in full swing.

To add some culinary magic to your festive season, learn classic holiday recipes and cook along with professional chefs. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the Carnival Zone features rides for adults and kids, skill games, and more. They’ve also got retail outlets so you can get some Christmas shopping done.

From day to night, the Festive Stage will be alive with non-stop entertainment, including bands, Christmas carol sing-alongs, school choirs, jugglers, magicians, and even appearances by the man himself—Santa Claus.

And that’s not all. At 6.30pm every day, you’ll get to witness a grand tree lighting ceremony. This is complemented by a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm daily.

Advance tickets for the festival are now on sale via Platinumlist with kids three and under being allowed free admission. On-the-door tickets will also be available but they’re going to cost you a little more. So don’t miss out on the holiday magic and make your way to the Yas Winter Fest.
