Get ready to be left breathless. The Irish hitmakers, The Corrs, are making their way to Abu Dhabi. The group will perform on 27 September 2026 at Etihad Arena. The Corrs hail from County Louth in Ireland and are made up of four siblings: Andrea Corr on lead vocals, Sharon Corr on violin and keyboard, Caroline Corr on drums, percussion and piano, and Jim Corr on guitar, piano and keyboard. The band takes its name from the family surname, and their story began long before global tours and chart success. They first performed in a relative’s pub before gaining wider attention with an appearance in the 1991 film The Commitments.
Known for blending Celtic influences with folk, pop and soft rock, The Corrs rose to fame in the 1990s with a sound that felt instantly recognisable. Their debut album, Forgiven, Not Forgotten, was released in 1995 and introduced audiences to tracks such as “Runaway” and “The Right Time.” The album helped establish the group’s signature mix of fiddle-led melodies, heartfelt vocals and radio-friendly hooks.
Their 1997 album, Talk On Corners, took the band to a new level of international success. Produced by Glen Ballard, the record included “Dreams,” “So Young,” and “What Can I Do?”, songs that became staples of the era and helped turn The Corrs into global pop-rock stars.
Throughout their career, The Corrs have earned two Grammy Award nominations, a BRIT Award, and honorary MBEs for their contributions to music. While the singing siblings have also pursued solo projects over the years, their return to the stage has been welcomed by fans around the world.
Tickets for The Corrs live in Abu Dhabi will go on sale on Monday, 11 May 2026.
