The summer excitement begins at the lively Offside Sports Lounge, which will show all of the Euros’ action on HD screens throughout the venue. In the lead up to the semi-finals on Tuesday 6 July and the final on Sunday 11 July, Offside have an exciting array of offers to tempt you. 

You can receive a whopping 25% discount on your bill on Sundays if your team wins and you are wearing the team jersey! On Mondays, there are selected hops from AED 25 between 4:30pm and 10:30pm. Tuesdays are for teachers with a 25% discount on food all day, while Wednesdays allow ladies to avail of two free drinks with every main course ordered. 

Heading into the weekend, it’s gents night on Thursdays, where the lads can avail a 25% discount on food, or you can indulge in the weekend starter package, which involves all you can drink house beverages for AED 165 per person, from 7pm to 10pm. Fridays are for families with Offside’s famous brunch that includes a set menu and unlimited house beverages for AED 295 per person, from 1pm to 5pm. Better yet, kids aged five to twelve years (and pets) eat for free during these hours. The brunch is also available on Saturdays.

For something a little more sophisticated and restrained, the elegant Majlis Saadiyat with its mezzanine and outdoor terrace is an ideal spot for afternoon tea overlooking the waters of the Arabian Gulf. In celebration of strawberry season, Majlis has launched a picture-perfect high tea. The menu includes savoury treats such as salmon and cream cheese, free-range egg with cress, mature Scottish cheese and pickle and coronation chicken sandwiches. For something sweeter, the high tea set includes strawberry soup, strawberry mille-feuille, strawberry mousse cake, strawberry éclair and scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Served with a selection of tea or coffee, the traditional strawberry afternoon tea is served daily from 2pm to 6pm and is priced at AED 380 for two people.

For an afternoon tea with a difference, an Arabic Afternoon Tea is served on the boardwalk at Tean, offering stunning waterfront views and personalised service. The set menu reveals Arabian flavours that are bound to thrill, alongside cold infusion options. The Arabic Afternoon Tea is available Sunday to Wednesday, from 5pm to 7pm and Thursday to Saturday, from 2pm to 7pm. AED 360 for two people.

Tean, the resort signature Arabic restaurant, has also launched a weekend breakfast a stone’s throw from the idyllic Saadiyat shore. Select from Arabian breakfast favourites with touches of western influence, or enjoy a tasting menu to kick start your day. Every Friday and Saturday, from 8am to 1pm.

If you miss breakfast, you can still tuck into grilled spiced meats and seafood dishes cooked the traditional Levantine way with Tean’s new menu. Must order dishes on the new menu include Turkish Manti dumplings (AED 108), Chicken Liver draped in Pomegranate (AED 58), Laban Uommo (AED 158), Oven Baked Feta Cheese (AED 68) and a Fig Pavlova with orange blossom cream and Emirati honey (AED 53). Available daily from 12pm to 11pm.

No matter which package you opt for, an AED 100 credit to be redeemed on food and beverages will be given to all guests who show the receipt for PCR or laser-based DPI test undertaken outside Abu Dhabi. In addition, there’s also an AED 150 spa treatment voucher included. This credit is the ideal incentive for residents of Dubai and the Northern Emirates to venture down to the capital for some much-needed fun in the sun.

Finally, for those looking to get their beach body for the summer months, Bodyism Gym offers a special three month Gold Membership. Those signing up before 1 September 2021 will receive five complimentary personal trainer sessions, two 60-minute massages and five pool and beach guest passes, in addition to full access to the pool, beach and gym facilities.
