The American singer Macy Gray has announced dates for her The Trouble With The Truth Tour – and it’s heading to London. She is set to play the EarTH in Hackney on 6 November, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.
Macy is a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter. She is celebrated for her instantly recognisable raspy voice and blend of soul, R&B, jazz and funk. In 1999, she shot to fame with her debut album, On How Life Is. The album featured the global hit I Try, which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Macy has released numerous acclaimed albums, collaborated with a wide range of artists and appeared in films. Now, she is back on the road and playing across Europe. On Instagram, she said: “New album tour starts November 4th.”
Before the tour gets underway, Macy will perform two intimate shows on 7 and 8 August at the Blue Note in Los Angeles, United States. The The Trouble With The Truth Tour then starts in the United Kingdom. She will not only be visiting the capital, as she will also play Sheffield on 4 November, Cardiff on 5 November, and Leamington Spa on 7 November. She then takes to the tour across Europe, and it visits cities including Amsterdam, Braga, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan, Rome, and more.
