Experience Abu Dhabi with Ranveer Singh as your guide

The Bollywood superstar has been named the capital’s tourism ambassador.

Abu Dhabi just got a whole lot cooler with Ranveer Singh as its new face. That’s right, the Bollywood superstar is the official ambassador of Experience Abu Dhabi, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Ranveer’s love for the United Arab Emirates is no secret, and now he gets to share his passion for the country’s capital with the world. The partnership will last for two years, during which the actor will promote the city’s top events such as the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, IIFA and the NBA Abu Dhabi Games.

But that’s not all. Ranveer is also releasing an exclusive new film set in the UAE called One Summer Isn’t Enough. It follows the superstar as he explores some of the capital’s most iconic spots, including Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Beach Club and Yas Marina Circuit. He also shows off his impressive Al Ayyala dance moves. 

Ranveer can’t contain his excitement for this new venture. “This is the most fun I’ve had behind the camera,” he said. “Every time I visit, there is something new to discover and I always leave with countless memories and a strong desire to return.” 

Her Excellency Nouf AlBoushelaibi, executive director of the strategic marketing and communication sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, shared Ranveer’s excitement. 

“With Ranveer’s energy and passion for travel, he embodies the spirit of Abu Dhabi,” she explained. “Through this partnership, we aim to showcase the capital’s unique and captivating offerings, from its family fun to its intangible heritage and culture, stunning nature and adventure, and everything in between.”

Ranveer’s appointment as the destination ambassador for Abu Dhabi is expected to take Abu Dhabi’s tourism to the next level, as it leverages the actor’s popularity and fan following to attract more travellers to the city.

With his love for the city and its offerings, the Bollywood actor is expected to inspire more people to visit the capital and explore all that it has to offer.
