DJs Claptone and Crusy are the latest names to join Formula 1’s growing list of parties during the Singapore Grand Prix.
What’s a party during Formula 1 weekend without a powerhouse DJ? On 9 October 2026, German masked house maestro Claptone and Madrid-based producer Crusy will take over the Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck for AFTER 2049, turning one of Singapore’s most recognisable rooftops into a destination dance floor.
The party marks the closing celebration of TOKEN2049, the crypto and digital assets conference taking place at Marina Bay Sands from 7 to 8 October 2026. Joining the headline acts will be returning favourites Anonm and Hong Kong’s Leon, alongside Milam and Mo-Shi. In other words, there will be little excuse for anyone to stand around pretending they are only there for the view.
AFTER 2049 arrives with plenty of competition from a growing list of top-tier parties lining Singapore’s Formula 1 weekend. Over at Marquee, Diplo, DJ Anyma, and Martin Garrix are also set to make themselves heard, giving the city no shortage of reasons to stay out well past bedtime.
Claptone has built an entire identity around remaining somewhat anonymous. The German producer is instantly recognisable by his golden beak and white gloves, although the music does plenty of the talking. He first made waves with tracks including “Cream” and “No Eyes” featuring JAW, before his remix of Gregory Porter’s “Liquid Spirit” climbed to the No. 1 spot on Beatport. He has also remained a regular fixture on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, taking home the poll’s Highest House accolade in both 2018 and 2019.
Crusy, meanwhile, has been rising on music’s radar since dropping his first productions in 2011 at age 15. With the release of his monster album SELECTA by Toolroom Records in 2021, the producer swiftly became a fixture on the world stage. Now with numerous Top 10 Beatport tracks under his belt, collaborations with heavyweight labels underway, and an international schedule to set the stage across Ibiza, London, Tokyo, and beyond, Crusy is geared firmly towards peak-time territory, where restraint is unlikely to be high on the agenda.
The evening will also feature Polygon Live, whose custom sound system is designed to make the listening experience substantially more immersive than simply standing in front of a speaker. More than 10 speakers are arranged overhead and around the space in a dome-like formation, allowing individual sounds to move through the room. A synth might sweep across the crowd, while vocals seem to circle around you. It is also the only Southeast Asian Polygon Live production scheduled for 2026, making this particular stop rather more significant than your average rooftop rave.
And then there is the setting. Perched 57 floors above Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, AFTER 2049 comes with panoramic views of the city and, naturally, the Formula 1 action below. Tickets are currently sold out, though keen partygoers can subscribe to waitlist notifications when more tickets become available. So those hoping to trade the grandstand for a dance floor may want to keep their eyes and ears peeled.
