K-pop’s next wave is heading to Singapore. NEXZ will perform in the city for the first time with the NEXZ Global Showcase Event in Singapore, taking place at the Capitol Theatre on Sunday, 12 July 2026.
Presented by FriedRice Entertainment, the Singapore stop forms part of NEXZ’s growing global showcase run, which also includes Taipei, Hong Kong and Bangkok. For local fans, known as NEX2Y, the night marks a key milestone as the seven-member group brings its sharp choreography, youthful energy, and genre-blending sound to a live stage in Singapore for the first time.
NEXZ consists of Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui and Yuki. The group was formed through Nizi Project Season 2, the joint Japan-Korea audition project by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Their name stands for “Next Z(G)eneration”, reflecting a mission to introduce a new era of music and performance.
The group made its global debut in May 2024 with “Ride The Vibe,” quickly gaining attention for its slick performance style and confident sound. The music video passed 10 million YouTube views within three days, while the album reached number one on Hanteo’s daily Physical Album Chart. NEXZ followed with their Japan debut, “Ride The Vibe (Japanese Version)” / “Keep on Moving,” which reached number one on the Oricon Daily Ranking.
Since then, NEXZ has built momentum with releases including “NALLINA, O-RLY?” “One Bite,” “Beat-Boxer,” and their 2026 single “Mmchk.” Their recent material has helped sharpen the group’s identity, combining tight vocals, performance-heavy production and a playful sense of individuality.
