The Indie rock band will bring their Farewell Tour to The Star Theatre on 8 August 2026.

The Lion City continues to cement its place as one of Southeast Asia’s most exciting stops for international touring acts, and now another major name is preparing for a final bow. Irish indie rock band Kodaline will return to Singapore for one last concert, giving fans a final chance to experience the group live before they part ways later this year.

Set to take place on Saturday, 8 August at The Star Theatre, the show forms part of the band’s global Farewell Tour and promises an emotional night for longtime listeners. Expect a setlist packed with the songs that helped define Kodaline’s career, alongside material from the group’s fifth and final album.

Formed in Dublin, Kodaline has built a loyal worldwide following thanks to its emotionally charged songwriting and anthemic sound. The four-piece comprises Steve Garrigan on lead vocals, Mark Prendergast on guitar, Vincent ‘Vinny’ May on drums, and Jason Boland on bass. Before becoming Kodaline in 2012, the band originally performed under the name 21 Demands and made history in Ireland with its debut single. A name change and a new chapter soon followed, opening the door to international success.

Over the years, Kodaline has become best known for tracks such as “All I Want,” “High Hopes,” “Brother,” “The One,” and “Follow Your Fire.” Their music has long resonated with fans for its heartfelt lyrics, soaring choruses and cinematic melancholy, helping the band become one of the most recognisable names in modern indie rock.

In October 2025, Kodaline confirmed that the band would be disbanding. Rather than slipping away quietly, the group chose to mark the end with a farewell album and tour, allowing fans around the world to celebrate the music one final time.

The upcoming show also carries extra significance for Singapore audiences. Kodaline has performed in the city several times before, including in 2015, 2019 and 2023. That makes this 2026 date their fourth and final performance in the island nation.

Presale tickets for Kodaline in Singapore will be available on 30 March, with general ticket sales opening on 2 April. Given the significance of the farewell run, tickets are expected to move quickly.
