The Weeknd is coming to Singapore. After Live Nation Singapore sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a cryptic Instagram post featuring concert footage and the caption: “A Foreshadowing Of The Final Leg,” the shows have now officially been confirmed for 2 and 3 October 2026 at The National Stadium in Singapore, with Asia serving as the closing chapter of The Weeknd’s record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

The After Hours Til Dawn Tour began in Philadelphia in July 2022 and has grown into one of the most ambitious stadium runs of the decade. The tour reportedly surpassed USD 1.004 billion in gross revenue, with approximately 7.55 million tickets sold across 153 dates. Its current schedule includes major stadium dates across Europe, culminating in Lisbon on 6 September 2026.

The tour brings together the dark, cinematic world of After Hours, the radio-station concept of Dawn FM and the emotional finale of Hurry Up Tomorrow. Throughout the run, The Weeknd has leaned into themes of fame, excess, isolation, regret, and reinvention, turning the show into a stadium-sized spectacle built around moody visuals and synth-heavy production.

So, who is The Weeknd? Born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye in Toronto, the Canadian singer and songwriter first built a cult following by uploading music to YouTube in 2010. His early tracks gained momentum after being shared by Drake, before the 2011 mixtape House of Balloons established his shadowy, alternative R&B sound. He has since grown into one of the world’s biggest pop stars, with Grammy-winning albums including Beauty Behind the Madness and Starboy.

His biggest tracks include “Blinding Lights,” “Starboy,” “Save Your Tears,” “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Die For You,” and “I Feel It Coming.” Spotify’s 2026 all-time streaming list ranks “Blinding Lights” as its most-streamed song ever.
