The Japanese quartet, better known to fans as Higedan, will perform at The Star Theatre on 21 August.
Singapore’s concert calendar rarely slows down, and this year’s schedule is looking even stronger with the arrival of OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM. The Japanese band will make a one-night-only stop at The Star Theatre on 21 August 2026, bringing their Asia Tour to the Lion City.
Often shortened to Higedan, the quartet has built a formidable reputation since forming in 2012. The group features Satoshi Fujihara, Masaki Matsuura, Makoto Narazaki and Daisuke Ozasa and has become known for a sound that moves between J-pop and rock while remaining instantly accessible. Their rise accelerated after their major-label debut in 2018, and they quickly established themselves as one of Japan’s most successful streaming-era acts. In 2021, they received an Apple Music Award for Artist of the Year in Japan.
Tracks such as “Pretender,” “Cry Baby” and “Mixed Nuts” helped turn the band into a regional powerhouse, while also introducing them to wider audiences through film, television and anime tie-ins. Their catalogue is packed with songs that are ideal for a live setting, from piano-led ballads to full-throttle singalong moments, which explains why their concerts draw such devoted crowds.
The timing of the Singapore date also arrives with fresh momentum. In addition to its 2026 Asia tour, the band has continued to expand its discography with new material, including the double A-side single “Stardust” / “Elderflower.”
