Solstice Experiences in Singapore is bringing something intimate, immersive and seasonally led to the city’s dining scene. The new private dining concept transforms a loft apartment into a warm dinner setting, where food, music, lighting, and table design come together to create a multisensory experience.
Created by Darren and Patricia, the couple behind boutique hotel Tika in Lombok, Solstice Experiences moves away from the structure of a traditional restaurant. Instead, the concept leans into the feeling of being invited to a friend’s home, where the meal unfolds with ease and plenty of thoughtful details.
At the heart of Solstice Experiences is a menu shaped by the changing seasons. Each dinner is designed to reflect shifting moods, ingredients and flavours, while bringing together Asian influences and Western techniques. The approach draws on North American cooking styles and the comforts of regional home cooking, resulting in dishes that feel creative without losing their familiarity.
The menu changes regularly, giving diners plenty of reasons to return. Dishes may include seafood carpaccio tarts with homemade shiso oil, freshly baked bread served with roasted seaweed butter, and barramundi finished with laksa leaf oil and beurre blanc. The dinner concludes with Darren’s signature tiramisu, prepared tableside for a personal finale that captures the welcoming spirit of the experience.
Beyond the food, Solstice Experiences in Singapore is positioning itself as far more than a private dining concept. The team is working with local artisans and bartenders to introduce seasonal cocktail pairings, adding another layer to the evening. Future plans include creative coffee tastings, workshops and community-led gatherings, expanding the concept into a lifestyle space for people who appreciate good food, conversation and craft.
