Before the Singapore Grand Prix revs off for the Formula 1 weekend from 9 to 11 October 2026, 4,500 fans can enter a ballot to secure a spot at the racing grounds with the Thursday Pit Lane Experience. Open to Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents only, selected applicants will be granted access to the Circuit Park on Thursday, 8 October 2026 ahead of the competition’s commencement.
This rare opportunity offers close-up glimpses of all the behind-the-scenes happenings by the participating Formula 1 teams, including getting up close with the race cars, walking along the pit lane, and soaking in the buzz as the garages gear up to take on the Singapore track. And because taking in the views of the Formula 1 grounds is only part of the fun, interactive installations peppered throughout the F1 Village will also enhance the overall experience on the evening.
The Thursday Pit Lane Experience is part of the Singapore Grand Prix’s wider “Rev Up Singapore!” community outreach programme, which aims to bring Formula 1 closer to fans beyond the three days of official race action. Better yet, you do not need to be a Grand Prix ticket holder to enter the ballot. All Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can register for the chance to win a pair of passes, with the ballot open until 18 September 2026 at 11.59pm.
The Singapore Grand Prix Thursday Pit Lane Experience has been part of the annual Formula 1 event lineup for all 12 editions since it first started in September 2013, with the exception of the event’s pause in 2020 and 2021.
