Aman Singapore is set to bring the brand’s quietly luxurious “urban sanctuary” ethos to The Skywaters.

Singapore’s hospitality scene has never been short of ambition. Even so, Aman’s long-anticipated arrival feels significant. The ultra-luxury brand is preparing to make its Singapore debut inside The Skywaters, marking its first address in the Lion City and adding yet another layer of prestige to one of the city’s most closely watched new developments.

The Skywaters occupies a prime position where the Central Business District, Marina Bay, Tanjong Pagar and the emerging Greater Southern Waterfront begin to overlap. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the tower is set to rise 305 metres across 63 storeys, making it Singapore’s tallest building when complete. It is also conceived as a true vertical community, bringing together offices, retail, residences, and hotel space at one landmark address.

For Aman, the setting feels especially fitting. The brand has built its reputation on serene, deeply considered spaces that prioritise privacy, restraint and a strong sense of place. In Singapore, that vision is being shaped with interiors by long-time Aman collaborator Kerry Hill Architects. The design of the property takes cues from the city’s iconic black-and-white bungalows, blending natural materials, layered textures and generous proportions to create a calm, residential feel above the bustle below.

Inside, Aman Singapore is shaping up to be one of the most exclusive addresses in town. The hotel will feature a collection of suites, which are expected to be among the largest in Singapore. They will be designed to maximise privacy while offering breathtaking views of the skyline and the sea. There will also be a limited number of Aman-branded residences, ranging from one to five bedrooms.

Aman Singapore

Aman describes the project as an elevated sanctuary above Singapore’s green belt, with residences designed to offer stillness, privacy and sweeping views across the skyline and surrounding botanical expanses. The wider development has also positioned the hotel around world-class dining, an Aman Spa and an infinity pool overlooking the city, all of which should place it firmly among the city’s most exclusive future addresses.

An official hotel opening date has not yet been confirmed by Aman, but the broader Skywaters development is currently targeting completion in 2028. Whenever the doors do open, Aman Singapore looks poised to raise the bar for urban luxury in a city that already knows a thing or two about high-end hospitality.
