The Hari Singapore will mark the third global property from the boutique hotel brand, following its success in London and Hong Kong. Known for creating hotels that feel more like stylish homes than traditional luxury stays, The Hari has built a reputation for intimate atmospheres, bold design details, and a strong connection to local culture.
Taking over the existing Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre on Cavenagh Road, The Hari Singapore will transform the long-standing Orchard Road address into a contemporary luxury retreat. The prime location places guests at the centre of Singapore’s most iconic shopping, dining, and entertainment district, with major attractions and lifestyle experiences just moments away.
Developed by Harilela Hotels, the new Singapore property is expected to reflect the character of its surroundings, including the nearby Emerald Hill conservation area. Known for its beautifully preserved Peranakan architecture and heritage charm, it is likely to influence the hotel’s design direction and cultural identity.
The transformation will be led by British interior designer Tara Bernerd, the creative mind behind the interiors of The Hari London and The Hari Hong Kong. Her signature approach combines sophisticated design with warm, layered spaces that feel both luxurious and inviting. Accommodation-wise, The Hari Singapore will offer 326 rooms, elevating the existing property into a more luxurious stay.
