The In Good Company new flagship is housed within a three-story conservation shophouse.
The flagship offers its apparel collections, alongside a curated selection of lifestyle products by collaborators and a café.
The In Good Company flagship boutique is located at Joo Chiat Road.
Thoughtfulness runs deep in the veins of the In Good Company way of fashion, hospitality, community and collaboration under one roof.
The unhurried pace of life at Joo Chiat, setting it apart from metropolitan Singapore, is the quiet pull that informed the development of the In Good Company new flagship retail space. Housed within a three-storey shophouse in the neighbourhood, it is the homegrown fashion brand’s belief that life as it is meant to be approached intentionally.
Of this monumental opening, Jaclyn Teo, co-founder and managing director of In Good Company says, “This feels entirely different to a mall unit — this conservation building has character already built into the walls. We wanted to create a space that could become part of the neighbourhood’s daily rhythm rather than sit apart from it.”

Nestled shoulder to shoulder alongside multi-generational hair salons, vintage shops peddling a curated selection of oddities, and hole-in-the-wall art showcases by independent artists, the In Good Company space was designed to imbue a sense of lived-in comfort amongst them all. Soft daylight bathes the interiors, where natural textures and warm finishes form the basis of the boutique’s inviting atmosphere.
The first floor welcomes a selection of apparel essentials curated for the Joo Chiat demographic — think gossamer jersey dresses for ladies, and breathable denim separates for gents. Venture deeper in, and the customer will find an object wall, representing In Good Company’s spirit for collaboration, where decorative ceramic collectibles by Dear Tuesday and Mudrock Ceramics, cult favourite fragrances from Copenn, and skincare from ROMI Beauty, adorn the shelves.

And as if to encourage customers to linger just a little longer, there’s a tea and wagashi; traditional Japanese sweets, station named Miura located here too. Designed with an open concept, the café offers a trim menu highlighting seasonal produce, and is anchored as an experience meant to leave customers feeling better than when they arrived. Though, Miura seats only a handful on a communal bench, gathering here feels less like occupying a commercial space, and more so like a meet-up with like-minded folk in someone else’s living room.
Wandering up to the second floor opens up a wider range of In Good Company’s collections for browsing in an intimate setting for the customer. Hushed lighting and layered curtains set the tone for moments of discovery throughout this retail floor. And if here is where the In Good Company loyalists gather, then the top of the shophouse one floor up is where new communities are forged — this loft space is a blank canvas for workshops and future programming to take hold.

“As we grow, we’re thinking less about store rollouts and more about how a space can become meaningful within its own context,” says Teo. “It shows how a retail space can also be a gathering point and a platform for collaboration and somewhere people return to for reasons beyond just shopping. If we do this right, growth becomes less about how many doors we open, and more about how many genuine connections we become part of.”
