Singapore is seriously upping its comedy credentials. Just For Laughs Singapore is returning for its second edition, and the 2026 programme has assembled an impressive collection of comedians from across Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States.

Running from 6 October to 1 December 2026, Just For Laughs Singapore will stage eight productions across the island. The programme ranges from major international stand-up tours to musical comedy and the festival’s All-Star Gala, with Trevor Noah among the biggest names on the bill.

Jiaoying Summers: 6 October 2026

Jiaoying Summers

The laughter starts on 6 October 2026 when Jiaoying Summers takes her Lucky Pony Tour to Capitol Theatre. Born in China and based in Austin, Texas, Summers has become one of the fastest-growing names in international comedy, turning motherhood, marriage, migration and cultural misunderstandings into razor-sharp material. Her videos have generated more than two billion views, while her social following has surpassed five million. Summers became the first Chinese comedian to headline New York’s Apollo Theater and was inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame in 2023.

Aaron Chen: 19 October 2026

Australian comedian Aaron Chen takes over Capitol Theatre on 19 October with Technology. Chen’s deliberately awkward delivery, deadpan observations and ability to find comedy in seemingly mundane situations have made him a standout on the Australian circuit. His accolades include winning Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2017 and the festival’s People’s Choice Award in 2024 for Funny Garden. That show has since become a Netflix stand-up special, introducing his distinctive humour to a wider international audience.

Trevor Noah: 3 November 2026

Trevor Noah Just For Laughs Singapore

The festival’s biggest name arrives at The Star Theatre on 3 November 2026. South African comedian Trevor Noah became an international star during his seven-year run as host of The Daily Show, where his perspective on politics, race and global affairs made him one of television’s most recognisable satirists. He is a two-time Emmy winner with 21 Emmy nominations, a six-time Grammy Awards host and the author of the bestselling memoir Born a Crime. The book won the Thurber Prize for American Humour and an NAACP Image Award, while his stand-up tours have filled arenas around the world.

Morgan Jay: 13 & 14 November 2026

Morgan Jay Abu Dhabi Comedy Season

Music and comedy collide when Morgan Jay performs his Goofy Guy Tour at Esplanade Theatre on 13 and 14 November 2026. The Los Angeles-based comedian and musician has developed a distinctive live act combining stand-up, crowd work, guitar and heavily Auto-Tuned vocals. Jay has appeared on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, NBC and Comedy Central, while his viral audience interactions have attracted millions of followers online. He was a semifinalist on NBC’s Bring the Funny and has won several comedy competitions, including the Ventura Comedy Festival and Antelope Valley Comedy Festival.

The All-Star Gala: 15 November 2026

Fadzri Rashid Just For Laughs Singapore

On 15 November 2026, the Esplanade Theatre hosts the Just For Laughs All-Star Gala, bringing together comedians from across Asia and Australia. Singapore’s Fadzri Rashid, formerly known as Fakkah Fuzz, hosts the night, following two Netflix specials and sold-out shows at the Esplanade. He is joined by Sri Lankan-Australian rising star Sashi Perera, Indian comics Azeem Banatwalla and Daniel Fernandes, Filipino comedian Alex Calleja, and Hong Kong-based American performer Garron Chiu. Between them, the lineup spans political satire, cultural identity, family life and sharp observational humour.

Dara Ó Briain: 20 November 2026

Dara O Briain Just For Laughs Singapore

Irish comedian Dara Ó Briain arrives at Capitol Theatre on 20 November 2026 with Re. Best known for hosting Mock the Week, Ó Briain has spent decades combining rapid-fire crowd work with science, storytelling and observational comedy. His television credits include Robot Wars, Stargazing Live and The Apprentice: You’re Fired. His previous show, So… Where Were We?, won Best Tour at the 2023 Chortle Awards and travelled across Europe, Australia, North America and the Middle East.

Atsuko Okatsuka: 25 November 2026

Atsuko Okatsuka

On 25 November 2026, Atsuko Okatsuka performs The Big Bowl Tour at The Star Theatre. The Taiwanese-Japanese-American comedian has developed a cult following through a mix of surreal observations, personal storytelling and an unmistakable bowl haircut. Her HBO special The Intruder won a Gracie Award, while her follow-up special Father premiered on Hulu in 2025. The latter explores marriage, adulthood and Okatsuka’s relationship with her father, continuing the autobiographical approach that has made her one of comedy’s most distinctive voices. She recently told FACT, “I connect with people by talking about the things that make us laugh, and if it works there, then there’s a joke there somewhere about this topic or experience.”

Dan & Phil: 1 December 2026

Dan and Phil Just For Laughs Singapore

The festival closes on 1 December 2026 when internet favourites Dan & Phil take their Hard Launch World Tour to The Theatre at Mediacorp. Dan Howell and Phil Lester became early YouTube superstars after first appearing together online in 2009, eventually building a global fandom through comedy videos, radio, books and sold-out theatrical tours. Their achievements include a Golden Headphones Award for their BBC Radio 1 show and a bestselling publishing career, while their previous stage productions have toured internationally. Hard Launch promises another night of self-deprecating stories and chaotic audience interaction.

Tickets for most Just For Laughs Singapore 2026 shows are already on sale. Trevor Noah presale tickets will be released on 9 September at 10am, followed by general sales on 11 September at 10am. Tickets for the All-Star Gala also go on general sale on 11 September at 10am via SISTIC.

With arena-level headliners, established Asian comedians and some of stand-up’s fastest-rising names, Just For Laughs Singapore is making its second edition significantly bigger than its first. Singapore, it seems, is having the last laugh.
