The Mercedes-Benz Studio arrives in Singapore with a series of art and lifestyle programming alongside a showcase of its latest models.

Unlike your typical car showroom, the Mercedes-Benz Studio opening in Singapore on 2 September 2026 is a cultural hub where art, culture, dining, wellness, and community converge. Taking up residence within the SG50 Lattice structure at Gardens by the Bay, the Studio is a first for the automobile brand in Southeast Asia.

Naturally, a selection of desirable Mercedes-Benz cars will also be housed in the space, including the newly launched GLC 400 4MATIC electric — the electric version of the popular Mercedes-Benz GLC. Joining a roster of cities that have hosted The Studio — including Copenhagen, Rome, and Tokyo — the Singapore iteration will unfold in three stages: the Canvas, the Commune, and the Courtyard.

At the Canvas, Mercedes-Benz has envisioned the space as a platform where art meets design, with Mercedes-Benz’s latest models modelled alongside art pieces commissioned from local and regional talents. For its opening, the Canvas will feature a digital artwork by Metamo Industries, a Singapore-based media studio.

Over at Commune, hospitality, retail, and lifestyle collide, bringing together a café and social space furnished by local names Commune and Stacked Store. Beyond coffee and conversation, visitors can browse limited-edition merchandise, discover new product launches, and dip into a rotating line-up of culinary and lifestyle collaborations. Kicking off the space’s residency is Ferm, whose probiotic drinks give traditional fermentation a contemporary refresh.

Then, there is the Courtyard for all things communal. Designed as an open setting for gatherings, workshops and interactive experiences, the flexible space can be reconfigured depending on the agenda. Its programming brings together Singapore’s communities across sport, wellness, cycling and the creative scene, with the first community weekend featuring Adidas Run Club, Rapha and TUNDRA. Creative types are catered for too, with workshops by Studio Wilt and a live screen-printing session by Tell Your Children. In other words, plenty is happening here beyond admiring the automobiles.

Admission to the Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore is complimentary, while those interested in its rotating programmes will need to register or obtain separate tickets. The Studio will call its Gardens by the Bay address home for a year.
