Singapore’s aviation story has taken flight once again. The newly revamped Singapore Air Force Museum has officially reopened, inviting visitors to explore the history, innovation and people behind the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
Located at 400 Airport Road, the museum has been refreshed with a series of immersive and interactive experiences that bring the RSAF’s past, present and future into sharper focus. From high-tech galleries to outdoor aircraft displays, the attraction offers an engaging look at Singapore’s air defence capabilities and the people who keep them moving.
One of the museum’s headline features is its new immersive theatre experience. The five-minute film ‘Homeward’ places visitors inside the cockpit of a fighter jet, offering a first-person view of an RSAF operation. With curved screens and seat vibrations, the experience recreates the tension and intensity of an aerial mission as the air force responds to potential threats.

The storytelling continues inside the Full Spectrum gallery, where large-scale projection mapping, operational footage and digital animation show how the RSAF remains mission-ready across different scenarios. The gallery offers visitors a closer look at the scale and coordination required to protect Singapore’s skies.
Elsewhere, the Viewing Gallery uses interactive storytelling displays to spotlight fighter jets, missile systems and other key equipment. The Ever Ready gallery shifts the focus to the people behind the operations, with a runway-inspired showcase celebrating the dedication, discipline and teamwork of RSAF personnel, both past and present.

Long-time fans of the museum will be pleased to know that its outdoor aircraft displays remain part of the experience. Visitors can still get up close to some of the RSAF’s most recognisable aircraft, making it a strong choice for aviation enthusiasts, families and curious first-time visitors.
Children are also well catered for, with themed play spaces designed to spark the imagination. These include aircraft-inspired installations, climbable replicas and a sheltered outdoor playground inspired by the C-130 Hercules. The result is a museum experience that balances education with hands-on discovery.
