The S$1 billion wellbeing attraction will bring pools, saunas, water slides, dining spaces and a coastal park to Marina South.
Singapore’s wellness scene is about to reach a whole new scale. Therme Singapore has broken ground in Marina South, paving the way for a seven-storey wellbeing attraction that is scheduled to open in 2030. Located near Gardens by the Bay and Marina Barrage, the development will bring together water-based leisure, thermal wellness, dining and green public spaces in one waterfront destination.
Spanning four hectares along the waterfront, Therme Singapore forms part of the city’s wider ambition to grow as a leading urban wellness destination. Once fully operational, the attraction is projected to welcome around two million visitors a year, with international travellers making up a significant share.

Inside, guests will find three core zones. Play will cater to families and active days out, with children’s pools, interactive water areas and 18 slides stretching across a combined 1.8 kilometres. Relax will bring together thermal pools, mineral baths, hydromassage beds and calmer water areas. Restore will focus on deeper recovery, with saunas, steam rooms and treatment spaces.
The development will feature more than 20 pools and water features, plus over 70 wellness treatment rooms. More than a spa or a water park, Therme Singapore is being positioned as a full-day destination, with dining and social spaces designed to make the most of its waterfront setting.

Botanical landscaping will play a major role too. More than 200,000 plants, including orchids, palms and Southeast Asian species, will be incorporated throughout the site, creating a tropical environment that connects water, wellness and nature.
Technology and sustainability are also central to the plans. The attraction will use RFID wristbands for lockers and payments, robotic locker systems, advanced water filtration, energy-efficient systems, solar panels, smart irrigation and climate-responsive landscaping. Around the venue, a free four-hectare coastal park will connect the attraction with Marina Barrage, adding a public waterfront link for residents and visitors.

Therme Group already operates major wellness destinations in Europe, including Bucharest and Erding. Therme Singapore will mark the brand’s first destination in Asia, bringing its large-scale approach to wellbeing to one of the region’s busiest urban centres.
