Disney Cruise Line is preparing to make waves in Southeast Asia with the launch of Disney Adventure from Singapore.
Disney Cruise Line is set to make a major regional debut with the arrival of Disney Adventure in Singapore. Marking the brand’s first cruise to sail from the Lion City, the new ship represents an important step in Disney’s expansion across Southeast Asia and brings one of the company’s most ambitious cruise experiences to local and international travellers alike.
Operating from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Disney Adventure gives guests the chance to enjoy a Disney holiday at sea without the need for long-haul travel. With three and four-night sailings available, the ship has been designed as a destination in its own right, focusing on immersive onboard experiences rather than port-heavy itineraries. That means more time to enjoy the attractions, entertainment and themed environments that make Disney Cruise Line such a draw for families.

The ship itself is vast. Disney Adventure comes in at 208,000 gross tons and can accommodate around 6,700 passengers, alongside roughly 2,500 crew members. It is also set to be the largest vessel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, underlining the scale of the company’s ambitions for the region.
On board, guests can explore seven themed zones, each inspired by Disney stories and characters. These include Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Marvel Landing, Town Square and Wayfinder Bay. Together, they create a playful, highly visual environment that blends attractions, dining and entertainment in true Disney fashion.

Among the standout areas is Marvel Landing, which will feature the longest rollercoaster at sea. Families can also look forward to Toy Story Place, an interactive water play zone, while Wayfinder Bay offers an open-air setting inspired by Moana. At the centre of the ship sits Disney Imagination Garden, which acts as a hub for live performances, storytelling and theatrical moments.
Beyond the themed spaces, Disney Adventure promises a packed programme of experiences. Expect themed restaurants, original live shows, interactive games, cinemas, character meet-and-greets and dedicated spaces for children and teenagers. Beloved characters from films, including Finding Nemo, will also appear throughout the journey, adding to the sense of Disney immersion from start to finish.

For travellers seeking a family-friendly escape with broad appeal, Disney Adventure looks set to deliver a new kind of staycation-style break from Singapore. Combining large-scale entertainment, polished hospitality and Disney storytelling, it is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about cruise launches in the region.
