Third time’s the charm for chart-topping J-pop duo Yoasobi, who will be taking over their biggest stage in Singapore this coming February.
J-pop duo Yoasobi will be returning to Singapore on Saturday, 20 February 2027 for their biggest performance here yet. For their upcoming 10-City Dome & Stadium Tour 2026-2027 Super Planet, the band will be staging their concert at the Singapore National Stadium to an audience of 55,000. This concert will also cement Yoasobi as the first Japanese act to headline the venue.
The 10-City Tour will span five cities in Japan and five cities in Asia, including Hong Kong, Seoul, and Taipei. Singapore will, however, be the only Southeast Asia stop for the concert and is expected to draw considerable crowds from regional countries. This upcoming onstage appearance will be a third for Yoasobi, who previously performed sold-out shows at the Resorts World Ballroom in 2024 and at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2025.

Formed in Tokyo in 2019, Yoasobi comprises producer-songwriter Ayase and vocalist Ikura, and is best known for their unconventional brand of J-pop that turns “novel into music”. Inspired by the works of written fiction, the band’s first tracks were built around the narratives of stories by amateur Japanese authors. Their breakout followed soon after their debut with the single “Yoru Ni Kakeru” topping the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart for six non-consecutive weeks.
Their success was subsequently fuelled by their singles “Gunjō”, “Kaibutsu” and “Idol”. The latter, released in 2023, served as the opening theme for the anime Oshi no Ko, and broke the record for the fastest song to reach 100 million on-demand streams in Japan within five weeks, as well as achieving one billion streams within 137 weeks according to Oricon.

Addressing this latest tour announcement for the band, Sozo, the concert promoter for Yoasobi, shares, “Yoasobi’s return at this scale reflects this momentum, and we warmly welcome Yoasobi and their fans from around the world to experience not only an unforgettable concert, but also the best that Singapore has to offer. Yoasobi stand at the forefront of global J-pop, and it is incredibly exciting for us to be part of this historic milestone and their continued growth on the world stage.”
