The UAE may have mastered the art of elaborate brunches, but only one venue allows you to dine in the presence of cinematic greats like Christopher Nolan and Clint Eastwood: The Director’s Club. Their photos grace the walls, as do iconic movie scripts and other Hollywood memorabilia, setting the tone for a Saturday brunch that’s fit for a star.
The signature restaurant of The WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton, this upscale ‘meatery’ is rooted in premium cuts and the finest beverages, and that’s exactly what you’ll indulge in over brunch. Alongside weekly live entertainment that keeps an upbeat, electric vibe going throughout. Diners are greeted with a tower of bubbly or sparkling grape and, once seated, served a selection of sharing-style appetisers. This includes The Director’s Club signature beef tartare, burrata, truffle mac and cheese croquettes, old bay prawn po’ boys, and oysters Rockefeller.
The mains, meanwhile, are the crown jewel of the brunch and include a tantalising chargrilled Tomahawk steak carved tableside on a trolley. You can also choose from tasty dishes such as Josper-grilled flank steak, chargrilled chicken diavola, chipotle-BBQ braised lamb shank, whole roasted sea bass, smoked beef brisket, grilled jumbo prawns, or The Director’s Club Wagyu rib-eye. And despite its reputation for perfectly aged cuts, The Director’s Club also caters to vegetarians and vegans alike, ensuring options are also available for them. All dishes can be paired beautifully with elegant cocktails and grape selections.
For dessert, the American-style steakhouse keeps it classic with American desserts like New York cheesecake, key lime pie, and s’mores.
The Saturday brunch is served weekly from 1pm to 4pm, with three packages to choose from: soft beverages (AED 275 per person), premium beverages (AED 375 per person), and bubbly (AED 475 per person).
Following brunch, guests can head to the hotel’s rooftop lounge, aptly named The Overlook, to unwind and cool off over drinks. Drinks packages start at AED 99 per hour.
