Partner Content: We’ve got the details on all the January specials.
While we don’t buy into the often problematic ‘New Year, New You’ mindset, we’re all for working towards happier and healthier versions of ourselves. Enter Rosewood Abu Dhabi, where a handful of January specials echo our sentiments, inviting guests to start 2023 on an uplifting note through spa offers, dining experiences, and family-friendly getaways. Here they are at a glance.
Easy Does It
Sense, A Rosewood Spa is inviting spa-goers to kick off the new year feeling calm and refreshed by introducing a special 2-for-1 package on its blissful Sense Massage treatments. Ideal for couples, best friends, or mothers and daughters who are looking to spend quality time together, this offer is available to enjoy every weekday between 11am and 3pm throughout the month of January. Offering a choice of different signature massages – all customised to suit each guest’s need – every step is delivered by experienced therapists trained to help with tired and achy muscles.
The offer is redeemable on all the destination’s most popular and luxurious massages. Guests are invited to choose between the Sense Signature Massage (featuring a therapeutic blend of techniques and signature oil infused with traditional Arabian frankincense and oud), the Fusion Massage (starring a mix of Acupressure, Thai, Balinese, Swedish and Ayurvedic rituals), the Aromatherapy massage (proven to increase circulation and restore energy balance), and many more highly effective treatments. Prices start from AED 605 per person.
The Little Extras
Elsewhere, Sense is also accenting its signature facials with a complimentary full-body massage or rejuvenating body scrub, both of which span 30 minutes. Incidentally, both add-ons are usually priced at AED 310, so this one’s a no-brainer. The choice of facials spans the luxurious anti-ageing Diamond Facial, the customised Sense Custom Complete, the Essential Nurturing Ritual for deep hydration, and many more. The complimentary massage or body scrub offer is available to redeem daily throughout January, with prices starting from AED 730 per person.
Why wait until the next holiday to spend quality time with loved ones? The Winter Getaway staycation offer at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is inviting families and friends to temporarily escape reality by enjoying the residential-style suites – complete with their creature comforts and panoramic views of Al Maryah Island and the city skyline. You can make the most of this weather by swimming laps in the lanes of the rooftop pool, dining al fresco at one of the hotel’s FACT Award-winning restaurants, or simply soaking up the winter sun. And with easy access to The Galleria, Rosewood Abu Dhabi is well situated for a shopping spree, giving parents a well-deserved break while the kids stay entertained at the Rosewood Explorers’ Kids Club.
Here, they can participate in everything from cookie decorating and movie nights to yoga and gardening. Further family fun can be found at the always popular Ripe Market, held on the hotel’s doorstep every Friday and Saturday evening. Featuring organic food stalls and nutritious snacks, it’s the perfect place for those who are looking to start 2023 on a healthy note, kids in tow. Finally, suite guests are encouraged to start the day with a healthy and balanced breakfast spread in the warm and welcoming Manor Club Executive Lounge. Making the Winter Getaway staycation even more tempting, anyone who books a suite automatically receives a 35 percent discount on the total cost, plus unlimited access to the Manor Club Executive Lounge. Kids under 12 can come along for free, inclusive of a complimentary breakfast.
All Fired Up
Rooftop dining experience Wood & Fire is set to return to GLO at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. The open-air brasserie is rooted in the classic cooking method of using firewood to prepare perfectly grilled meat and seafood. Set against striking vistas of the Arabian Gulf and Abu Dhabi skyline, the interactive journey invites diners to watch the chefs skilfully prepare all manner of meats and seafood using traditional firewood grills.
Utilising a variety of cooking techniques – from classic American grills to Komodo pressure grills – the immersive live cooking experience also features a cold preparation bar serving fresh oysters, fish, and fresh salads complemented by a lavish spread of indulgent desserts. Starting 15 January, the Wood & Fire experience will be available from Tuesday to Sunday, between 6pm and 11pm, priced à la carte.
