Ramadan is no ordinary affair at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi

SPONSORED: Iftar at the resort’s signature dining venue is expected to be a highlight.

With its prime location along the Corniche, The St. Regis Abu Dhabi perpetually deserves a spot on your radar, especially when it comes to festive celebrations. This year, the luxury hotel is honouring the holy month with a curated range of dining and leisure offerings that span Iftar, Suhoor, staycations, spa specials and more. Here, we reveal our favourites.

Iftar at The Terrace on the Corniche

Gather with friends and family at The Terrace on the Corniche, where a carefully curated menu will be complemented by warm, world-class service for Iftar. The bright and stylish international eatery happens to be the hotel’s signature restaurant, translating to a vibrant culinary journey that encompasses dishes from the Mediterranean, India, Italy, Indonesia, Jordan, Syria and beyond. Fresh seafood and traditional Middle Eastern treats will be served alongside not only local and international cheeses, but also a whole host of hot and cold mezzes. The vast selection of Arabic and international salads and full-flavoured soups, will help you break your fast on a light and healthy note.

The Iftar experience will continue with stations serving mouth-watering tandoori dishes, roasted chicken, prime beef carving, and Indian specialities such as butter chicken and paneer kadai. Fired and ready-to-go, the live BBQ station will entice meat enthusiasts with Arabic mixed grills and shrimps. Drawing on Asian cuisine, the spread will also feature stir-fried beef, yang chow fried rice, and Indonesian beef rendang and nasi goreng. And rounding off the selection will be Middle Eastern favourites ranging from saj and seafood tagine to ouzi and shawarma. To end your Iftar on a sweet note, save some space for a collection of mouthwatering desserts. The culinary team has pulled out all the stops, serving up a diverse array of cakes, a live crêpe and pancake station, baklava, artisanal gelatos and fresh fruit platters. Elsewhere, the likes of umm ali, kunafa and sticky date pudding will end the feast on a warm and hearty note.

Guests can choose to dine indoors or amidst the charm of the restaurant’s terrace, making Iftar at The Terrace on the Corniche one of the city’s only al fresco options. Available throughout the month of Ramadan, it’s priced AED 235 per person and will be served from sunset until 11pm. Children aged 6-12 will receive a 50% discount, while children five and below dine for free. Additional special offers can be availed when booking through morecravings.com.
