SPONSORED: The award-winning Garage redefines the notion of all-day-dining.
The undeniably funky W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island is home to a plethora of dining options. Yet it’s the appeal of all-day-dining restaurant Garage that has team FACT returning time and again.
Winner of ‘best all-day-dining’ and ‘best Friday brunch casual dining’ at the FACT Dining Awards Abu Dhabi 2021, Garage is most definitely a restaurant for culinary gourmands. Boasting a multi-faceted space overlooking Yas Marina Circuit, the colorful venue is fueled by a passion for flavor throughout its sharing style food concept. At Garage, diners can expect an interactive dining experience anchored around five distinct culinary hubs.
Begin your culinary journey at Nikkei House, where a tempting blend of Peruvian ingredients and Japanese cuisine results in several memorable dishes, including ceviche, poke bowls, tiraditos and a selection of Nikkei rolls in tantalizing flavor combinations such as touched salmon, tempura prawn and yuzu with cucumber. Take a seat upon an origami shaped chair and be prepared to be immersed in a culinary fusion of bombastic flavors.
The aptly named Steam Table represents an Asian street style market. Here, diners can indulge in an array of noodles and dumplings packed with bold flavors and prepared with authentic culinary craftsmanship. Admire the art installation from Yayoi Kusama depicting an oversized polka dot that resembles a rice wok while tucking into crispy lotus prawn fritters, dim sum and ramen.
Garage’s Mezza Bar will surely satisfy your cravings for Levantine cuisine. Inspired by La Maison Rose, the custom resin tables, stained glass window elements and the brick oven cladding are inspired by the dilapidated pink texture of the abandoned jewel of Beirut. Enjoy hummus, fatoush and tabbouleh in addition to chicken shawarma rolls, lamb chops and chicken Machboos for an authentic taste of the Middle East.
Drawing inspiration from the bank vaults of Great Britain, Meat Vault is a haven forgrilled meats that features a private dining area and television screens displaying all the action from Garage’s kitchens. From signature boards to USDA prime tenderloin and slow-cooked BBQ short ribs, Meat Vault is a carnivore’s paradise. Don’t miss out on The Vault’s activated charcoal wagyu burger (you can thank us later).
When it comes to desserts and sweet treats, look no further than Garage’s Tart Van. The blue food truck is accented with modernized Kufic calligraphy that resembles decorative icing. Here diners can enjoy a selection of sweet pies with thick crusts by the slice or splurge for a whole or half pie accompanied with generous scoops of ice cream.
Rounding out the Garage experience is the Tap Wall. An exciting beverage station that features 11 beverage taps featuring every concoction imaginable.
When it comes to memorable dining experiences in the capital, Garage redefines the notion of an all-day dining restaurant with its atmospheric surrounds, beautiful decor and an a la carte menu that aims to please.
