Abu Dhabi is set to host the Games of the Future 2025. Running from 18 to 23 December at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the event will showcase phygital sports and bring together competitions. If you’d like to join the fun, here’s what you need to know.
Games of the Future will transform Abu Dhabi into the centre of the phygital sport. The multi-sport event includes phygital disciplines, which span tech sports and esports. The events include Phygital Football and Phygital Shooter.
Each discipline sees athletes compete in a digital version of their sport, followed by competing in the same sport in real life. The experience seamlessly blends the physical and virtual into one cohesive competitive experience. In addition to the competitions, the event will feature virtual reality immersive fan engagement zones, cultural activations, and technology showcases.
