The golfing legend is eyeing glory once again.

Abu Dhabi continues to cement its reputation as a global sporting hub, and golf is no exception. From championship basketball to UFC showdowns, the capital plays host to world-class athletes, and come November, all eyes will be on the greens of Yas Links as Rory McIlroy returns for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Taking place from 6 to 9 November 2025, the 20th edition of the prestigious tournament promises high-stakes drama and unforgettable moments. McIlroy, fresh off his career-defining win at The Masters and currently leading the Race to Dubai, is coming in strong and hungry for more. After a standout performance at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Abu Dhabi marks his next challenge, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the capital.

A Northern Irish powerhouse and one of the sport’s most celebrated names, Rory McIlroy’s accolades include four major championships: the 2011 US Open, two PGA Championship titles, and The Open in 2014. With his signature precision and steely focus, he continues to draw crowds and dominate leaderboards across the globe.

The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is one of the flagship events on the DP World Tour calendar, bringing together the top 70 players of the season. Organised in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the tournament not only showcases elite golf but also drives sports tourism in the region, putting Abu Dhabi firmly on the global golfing map.

Tickets for the event are now available. General admission is free on the first two days, while entry for the final rounds starts at AED 50, a small price to witness greatness in action.

Whether you’re a die-hard golf fan or simply want to see a living legend play, the fairways of Yas Links are calling.
