UFC 321, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, is returning to Abu Dhabi. Taking place on 25 October at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, the event features a showdown between UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and number one contender Ciryl Gane.
Abu Dhabi has hosted a range of UFC events, attracting world champions and rising stars. Previous editions include UFC 242 and UFC 308. Now, UFC 321 will take place in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).
Heavyweight champion Aspinall aims to cement his legacy in the division as he defends his belt for the first time as the undisputed heavyweight champion. He secured the title with a first-round KO against Sergei Pavlovich. He has also defeated Andrei Arlovski, Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov.
Gane is aiming to make history in his first appearance of 2025. He is known for his finesse and footwork in the octagon, and has claimed victories over Derrick Lewis, Tai Tuivasa, and Alexander Volkov. The star now sets his sights on another statement win as he attempts to reclaim UFC gold.
Additional bouts on the UFC 321 card include a light heavyweight clash between Aleksandar Rakic and the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov; a heavyweight showdown featuring Alexander Volkov against Jailton Almeida; a flyweight contest where Azat Maksum meets Mitch Raposo; a middleweight bout between Ikram Aliskerov and JunYong Park; and a heavyweight battle between Hamdy Abdelwahab and Chris Barnett.
