Abu Dhabi is getting ready for big laughs this season, and two very different comedy voices join the capital’s growing comedy calendar. Indian comic Anubhav Singh Bassi and American comedy powerhouse Aries Spears will bring their stand-up shows to Abu Dhabi this November.
Taking place on 21 November 2026 at Etihad Arena, FACT Magazine is proud to join hands with Blu Blood as a media partner for two shows, which form part of the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season this year.
First up on stage is Anubhav Singh Bassi, one of India’s most beloved comedians, with his hit show Kisi Ko Batana Mat. Launching his stand-up comedy career with a memorable open mic performance in 2017, he has since skyrocketed to fame as a YouTube sensation, amassing over 200 million views globally. Beyond his online triumphs, Anubhav Singh Bassi delivered a monologue for Amazon Funnies and made a notable cameo in ZEE5’s Comedy Couple (2020).
Following Anubhav Singh Bassi, American stand-up star Aries Spears will make his Abu Dhabi debut at Etihad Arena on the same date. Known for his rapid-fire delivery, humour and sharp impressions, Aries Spears became renowned for memorable characters and impressions of icons including Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson and Eddie Murphy. His film credits include The Pest and Jerry Maguire. With a career spanning stand-up, television, film and podcasting, he brings his unfiltered comedy to Abu Dhabi for the first time.
