Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2023 promises a fusion of tradition and thrills

Get ready to witness 113 days of pure fun.

The highly anticipated Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival is coming back this winter. Taking place from 17 November 2023 to 9 March 2024, the festival will have many events and performances, promising an extravaganza of entertainment and cultural experiences. That means 113 days of pure fun in the heart of Al Wathba.

This year’s agenda is all about celebrating the UAE’s roots, connecting generations, and celebrating the region’s rich history. The program has been developed to ensure distinctive and diverse activities and adventures that’ll make this festival the talk of the town — more than it already is.

This year, the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival will host a Union Parade on the UAE National Day, reflecting the people’s sense of belonging and loyalty to the country. But that’s not all because the UAE National Day Celebrations will take over the entire site with tons of festivities. We’re talking special shows, performances at the Heritage Village, folk art magic, musical beats, fireworks, drone shows and a whole lot more.

The Heritage Village will be like a time-travelling adventure where you can explore traditional crafts and soak in the vibes of UAE’s incredible heritage. An agricultural excellence award, a rare species reserve and the Al Wathba Custom Show are just a few other activities on the agenda.
The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival will also have a Children’s City, Fun Fair City, Glow Flower Garden, House of Fear, an art district and various competitions and draws — paired with many surprises — that’ll keep you on your toes.

And the best part is that entry to the festival costs AED 10. So grab your loved ones and get ready to paint the town with fun at the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival 2023.
