British band Take That is heading to Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi

The hitmakers are bringing This Life on Tour to the UAE.

Abu Dhabi, it’s time to Take That. The British band are heading to Etihad Park on Yas Island on Friday, 25 October 2024. The trio will perform their greatest hits in the capital, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.

In 1990, Take That formed in Manchester, England. The group aimed to be a British version of New Kids on the Block. Their debut single was Do What U Like, and it was followed by Promises and Once You’ve Tasted Love. Their hit singles include Back For Good, Never Forget and Relight My Fair.

The original line-up included five members: Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. After Robbie left the group in 1995, the group broke up in 1996.  

They made a comeback as a fourpiece in 2006 and gained unexpected success with Patience, Greatest Day and Shine. Over their career, they have topped the UK album chart nine times and topped the UK singles chart 12 times.

Now, the three members — Gary, Howard and Mark — are bringing the This Life on Tour to Abu Dhabi. Take That shared: “We are so looking forward to coming back to the United Arab Emirates later this year. It’s going to be great to see everyone again and perform the songs from our new album This Life, as well as all the favourites and a few surprises! We can’t wait to see you all soon.”
