Bryson Tiller arrives during his Neo Trapsoul Tour, following new releases “IT’S OK” and “Drop The Lo”.
The event will take over Yas Island in November, with more artists still to be announced.
Abu Dhabi’s BRED is entering a new chapter. Following the postponement of the fourth edition of BRED Abu Dhabi earlier this year, the neo-culture festival is returning in a new format with BREDx. The new event will take place at Etihad Live on Yas Island on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2026, with Central Cee and Bryson Tiller leading the first wave of artists.
BRED, whose name comes from the phrase “born and bred”, launched in Abu Dhabi in 2023 and has developed into a celebration of contemporary youth culture across music, streetwear, food, art, sport and gaming. Previous editions have welcomed regional talent alongside major international acts. BREDx appears to put live music firmly in the spotlight, with two heavyweight names from UK rap and American R&B already confirmed.
Central Cee
Central Cee has become one of British rap’s biggest global success stories. The West London rapper gained serious momentum with tracks including “Day in the Life” and “Loading”, before “Commitment Issues”, “Doja” and “LET GO” pushed him further into the mainstream. His 2023 collaboration with Dave, “Sprinter”, became another defining moment, while “BAND4BAND” with Lil Baby continued his international ascent.
In 2025, Central Cee released his long-awaited debut album CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS, featuring collaborations with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Young Miko and Dave. He followed it in March 2026 with the seven-track EP ALL ROADS LEAD HOME, which included “ICEMAN FREESTYLE” and his J Hus collaboration “SLAUGHTER”.
The rapper has remained busy in recent months. His latest release, “The Team”, arrived on 18 August as part of Coca-Cola’s Premier League campaign. Central Cee also became the first UK rapper to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify, underlining just how far his career has travelled from its Shepherd’s Bush beginnings.
Bryson Tiller
Bryson Tiller will provide the R&B side of the BREDx bill. The Louisville artist first gained attention online before “Don’t” became his breakthrough hit in 2015. His debut album T R A P S O U L followed that same year, helping define a darker, trap-influenced strain of contemporary R&B through songs such as “Exchange”, “Right My Wrongs” and “Sorry Not Sorry”. He later topped the US albums chart with True to Self and collaborated with Rihanna and DJ Khaled on the global hit “Wild Thoughts”.
Tiller’s catalogue has continued to evolve. “Whatever She Wants” became another major hit in 2024, while 2025 saw the release of Solace & The Vices. This year, he has shared “IT’S OK” and “Drop The Lo”, with the latter signalling the start of another musical chapter.
The Abu Dhabi appearance lands during a particularly busy period for Tiller. His 61-date Neo Trapsoul Tour began in North America on 27 August and heads to Europe from 17 November, placing BREDx just three days before the European leg begins.
