Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 weekend has added another global name to its entertainment line-up. Imagine Dragons will headline the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix After-Race Concerts on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The performance will take place at Etihad Park, bringing one of the world’s biggest pop-rock bands to Yas Island for the F1 season finale.
Formed in Las Vegas in 2008 and fronted by Dan Reynolds, Imagine Dragons became one of the defining radio-rock acts of the 2010s. Their breakthrough came with the release of “Night Visions,” which introduced the band’s anthemic sound to a global audience. “Radioactive” became a career-making single, earning the group a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in 2014. Since then, Imagine Dragons have built a catalogue designed for festival fields and stadium sing-alongs. Their biggest tracks include “Demons,” “Believer,” “Thunder,” and “Whatever It Takes.”
The Abu Dhabi show also marks a return to familiar ground. Imagine Dragons previously performed at Etihad Arena on Yas Island as part of their Mercury World Tour on 26 January 2023, while regional stops have included Riyadh and Bahrain.
David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Ethara, said: “Imagine Dragons are one of the defining live acts of this generation, with mass appeal to all. Their ability to deliver stadium-scale performances that connect with audiences around the world makes them the perfect addition to the Yasalam program.
The announcement sees Imagine Dragons join Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who are already confirmed for the entertainment programme on Thursday, 3 December 2026. More international artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has become one of the region’s biggest sports and entertainment events, combining elite motorsport, concerts, after-parties and hospitality experiences across Yas Island. In 2025, the event welcomed a record 339,000 attendees, including 136,000 concertgoers at the After-Race Concerts and Official After Parties.
