Christina hails from New York, United States. She moved across the country to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas. When she was a child, she successfully auditioned for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, and appeared on the show alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Keri Russell and Ryan Gosling.
In 1999, she released her debut single, Genie in a Bottle, which became a worldwide smash hit. She was part of the wave of teen idols. Her hit singles include Ain’t No Other Man, Beautiful, Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You), Lady Marmalade, and What A Girl Wants.
Christina has also crossed over to films. She starred in the movie, Burlesque, alongside Cher. Over her career, she has won five Grammy Awards, six ALMA Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Plus, she is familiar with the Middle East. However, she last performed in the UAE 17 years ago.
