Abu Dhabi is hitting the high notes. Saadiyat Nights has announced that the singing sensation Mariah Carey will be heading back to Abu Dhabi. The concert takes place on 7 February 2026, and tickets are available now.
Saadiyat Nights is an open-air musical event which takes place on Saadiyat Island. The upcoming events also include Ludovico Einaudi on 10 January, Lewis Capaldi on 17 January, John Mayer on 24 January, Ricky Martin on 31 January and Bryan Adams on 11 February. More headline acts will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Mariah Carey hails from New York, United States. She has a rags-to-riches success story and shot to fame after handing a demo tape to Columbia Records’ music executive, Tommy Mottola. He listened to the tape on his ride home and immediately turned back around to meet the singer. In 1990, she released her first album, Mariah Carey, which went to number one on the US album charts.
Over Mariah’s career, she has sold more than 220 million records. She has an endless list of hit singles, which include “Always Be My Baby,” “Emotions,” “Fantasy”, and “Hero.” Plus, her Christmas album has become a staple in the season, and includes “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Mariah is no stranger to the Middle East. She previously performed at Saadiyat Nights in 2024, at the countdown to Expo 2020 Dubai and at the opening of Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia. In September 2025, Mariah Carey released her new album called Here for It All, her first studio LP since 2018. The singles include “Type Dangerous”, which samples Eric B. & Rakim, and “Sugar Sweet”, featuring Kehlani and Shenseea.
