The UAE is turning up the volume this summer as This Is Michael heads to Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Taking place on 22 August 2026, the live production in Abu Dhabi celebrates the music and moves of the legendary pop star Michael Jackson.
Presented by Live Nation Middle East, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Miral, the show has already played to audiences across Europe and Latin America. It has become one of the world’s most successful live celebrations of the King of Pop, with more than 500,000 tickets sold globally.
At the heart of the production is performer Lenny Jay, who leads the show with live vocals, slick choreography and a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson. He will be joined by an international cast of dancers, singers and live musicians, bringing a concert-style spectacle to the capital.
The two-hour production features more than 20 songs, multiple costume changes and a full-scale stage show designed to recreate the excitement of Michael Jackson’s legendary concerts. While the full Abu Dhabi setlist has not yet been confirmed, previous performances of This Is Michael have featured many of Michael Jackson’s defining hits, including “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, “Thriller”, “Smooth Criminal”, “Bad”, “Black Or White”, “The Way You Make Me Feel”, “Man In The Mirror” and “They Don’t Care About Us.” Audiences can look forward to a setlist filled with era-defining hits, along with the instantly recognisable choreography, fashion and visuals that helped make Jackson one of the most influential entertainers of all time.
From moonwalks and military jackets to high-energy dance routines and powerhouse vocals, This Is Michael is designed as a celebration of the artist’s enduring legacy. The show aims to appeal to longtime fans as well as younger audiences discovering the music for the first time.

Mastercard cardholders will receive early access to tickets in the UAE. The Mastercard Presale begins on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 12pm and runs until Thursday, 21 May 2026, at 12pm. World Elite and World Legend Mastercard cardholders will also have access to preferred tickets from Thursday, 21 May 2026 at 12pm.
