The teams behind LOCAL and Marmellata will open Deuces in Abu Dhabi

The cool concept will launch during BRED Abu Dhabi in April. 

Abu Dhabi, we have some tasty news. The teams behind the hip cafe LOCAL and popular pizza place Marmellata have created a new concept. Deuces will be debuting at BRED Abu Dhabi, and is soon opening up for bookings. 

On Instagram, Deuces in Abu Dhabi has offered a teaser of what to expect. The venue is a café, bar and pizzeria. The clips show chefs at work in a busy kitchen, and cutlery being laid out onto white tablecloths. As diners gather around, they are served drinks and tuck in slices of freshly made pizza. 

Deuces in Abu Dhabi will be launching at BRED Abu Dhabi, which takes place from 24 to 28 April on Yas Island. The festival first started in 2023 and is now in its second edition. The event is produced by Brag, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and presented by Hypebeast. Plus, it describes itself as a neo-culture festival, which refers to separate cultures combining to create an altogether new one. 

BRED Abu Dhabi aims to bring together local as well as international artists, regional talent, streetwear stalls, curated art, interactive experiences, and international as well as local food. The line-up includes AJ Tracey, Don Toliver, J Hus, Offset, Metro Boomin and Ty Dolla $ign.

In 2019, Marmellata was created by Raj and Sebastian Dagstani, a father and son duo. When the hole-in-the-wall concept opened near Mina Zayed, it quickly became a hit. With only 25 indoor seats and 25 outdoor seats, the menu includes its famously fresh focaccia and what they call New York-ish pizzas.

Tickets for BRED Abu Dhabi are now. Festival Day Passes start from AED 75, and Five-Day Festival Passes start from AED 495. Access to concerts from 25 to 27 April starts from AED 125.
