You can soon indulge in your favourite pizzas in the Garden City.
Blu Pizzeriá, the homegrown name known for wood-fired pies and a loyal following, is heading to Al Ain. A source close to the brand confirmed to FACT that the popular spot is preparing to open at Al Mutaredh Mall, marking its first outpost in the Garden City. Once the doors open, it will become the brand’s fourth branch in the UAE and fifth across the Middle East.
Born in Dubai and inspired by Naples, the birthplace of pizza, Blu Pizzeriá has built its reputation on craft, quality and a menu that nods to regional tastes. Founded by Emirati entrepreneur Abdelrahman Alteneiji, the concept blends the warmth of Italian tradition with a modern local twist, resulting in pizzas that feel familiar yet distinctly of the UAE.
The menu covers both classics and creative signatures. Time-honoured favourites include the Burrata, bright with basil and cherry tomatoes, and a Spicy Pepperoni layered with cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano and fiery salami. For diners keen to explore, there are inventive choices that showcase Blu’s flair. The Short Ribs pizza is a standout, pairing Black Angus short ribs with caramelised onions and a truffle white sauce. The Musakhan channels beloved Levantine flavours, topped with chicken, cheese and a tangy sour cream sauce. Each pizza arrives from the wood-fired oven with a blistered crust, a soft chew and balanced toppings that keep the focus on flavour.
Blu’s story mirrors the momentum of the UAE dining scene. The first branch in Jumeirah sparked the brand’s rise, followed by Al Khawaneej and Hidd Al Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, before crossing borders to Riyadh. London is also on the horizon, a marker of the concept’s growing appeal beyond the region. With Al Ain joining the map, Blu Pizzeriá is set to bring its signature style to a new community of pizza lovers.
An opening date remains under wraps, but the arrival of Blu Pizzeriá at Al Mutaredh Mall is already one of the most anticipated openings in Al Ain.
