Burger fans, we have some flipping fantastic news. The burger joint Eleven Green has opened a drive-through in Abu Dhabi. If you’d like to get your hands on the homegrown success story’s patties and buns, here’s what you need to know.
In 2019, Eleven Green started as a supper club. The husband-and-wife team, Sultan and Kinda Chatila, are behind the concept. The cult favourite quickly gained a loyal following, often drawing queues at its Dubai branch that stretched out the door and onto the street. Now, you don’t have to stand outside, but can drive up to Eleven Green Abu Dhabi in Khalifa City, the first branch for the brand in the capital, in the comfort of your car.
Eleven Green Abu Dhabi offers a range of hand-pressed burgers that are 100% Made in the UAE, including the award-winning Bull Burger, which is stacked high and smothered in cheese. Specials include the AA Cheeseburger – it might sound like batteries, but it’ll leave you recharged. It comes with Wagyu beef, two slices of American cheese, diced onions, pickles, and the signature 11G sauce. The El Reno comes stacked with double Wagyu beef, American cheese, jalapeños, sliced grilled onions, and 11G sauce.
The limited menu also includes the Angry Chicken, made with 100 per cent corn-fed chicken, and the Grilled Cheese Sando, featuring caramelised onions, Emmental cheddar, and Gruyère Suisse. Plus, there is the 11G Classic Chicken and 11G Hot Dog.
The desserts are comforting. The Fudge Cookie comes with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with a cookie. The Fudge A-La-Mode sees a warm chocolate fudge topped with vanilla ice cream.
