The London-born favourite is heading to Abu Dhabi with its mono-plate menu and signature secret sauce.
Rowley’s is set to bring its famously focused dining concept to Abu Dhabi, with a new outpost confirmed for Yas Bay in 2026. For a city that appreciates waterfront dining and big-name restaurant arrivals, it feels like a natural fit. Yas Bay has already become one of the capital’s busiest lifestyle destinations, and Rowley’s impending arrival adds another crowd-pleasing name to the waterfront mix.
Rowley’s Abu Dhabi will introduce a focused mono-plate menu that keeps things simple and indulgent. Guests can look forward to a plate built around steak, salad, fries and that famous secret sauce. The experience is designed to feel generous and unfussy, with unlimited fries on offer and a cake of the day for those who want to finish with something sweet.

The original Rowley’s restaurant can be found on Jermyn Street in London, where it has operated for 50 years. The location was home to the Walls meat business, and where Richard Walls learnt his trade. Over the years, the business has remained in the family, prides itself on maintaining the same high quality, and has built a reputation as a destination for serious steak lovers. The concept celebrates dry-aged, grass-fed beef and classic British comfort dishes. At the heart of the experience is the signature Entrecôte Steak, served with the restaurant’s secret herb, Roquefort, and butter sauce, which regulars return for time and again.
The setting promises to mirror the brand’s debonair London style while speaking to its new waterfront address. Expect an old-world atmosphere with wooden flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, dramatic mirrors, framed photographs and a classic clock that anchors the room. A charming fox mascot appears throughout the space, from staff uniforms and merchandise to the tablecloths, where guests can even scrawl their name and preferred cooking temperature for a touch of interactive fun.

That formula has already proved successful beyond London. In Dubai, Rowley’s has positioned itself as a steak-and-frites destination in DIFC and has received widespread acclaim for its casual dining experience, while its Riyadh branch, now open in KAFD, offers a similarly focused menu that is drawing crowds.
Now, Rowley’s Abu Dhabi is next, bringing the brand’s much-loved Entrecôte Steak and British brasserie charm to one of the capital’s most dynamic districts. In a market filled with overcomplicated menus and concept-heavy launches, Rowley’s succeeds by doing one thing very well.
