The UAE is home to spectacular supper clubs. Now, TeTTo has expanded from a supper club to a restaurant. TeTTo started in an Abu Dhabi home and is now a fully-fledged dining destination in MiZa, Mina Zayed. Here’s what you need to know.
The TeTTo concept began as a dinner among friends but grew into a paid supper club experience. The founders explained: “There was a dinner, then that dinner became two dinners and then three dinners, and then it became a supper club. It was for one night, then it was five, and then it was 30”.
The venue draws inspiration from the original, imitate supper club experience, and gives diners a chance to see the chefs at work. The tables will be close to the chefs, which provides an Insta-worthy experience.
TETTO’s menu leans into a polished, produce-led mix of seafood, grill dishes and comforting pasta, with plenty of variety for sharing. Small bites include Guacamole, Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde, while the starters range from Rosso di Mazara Gambero Cruda and Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche to Toro Tartare, Lobster Salad and Crispy Prawn. There are lighter options, such as the TeTTo Pearl Salad and Puy Lentil Salad, alongside richer plates like broken Burrata di Puglia bruschetta and Bulgogi Wagyu Lettuce Wraps. For mains, the Bincho Grill & Pasta section stands out with Sanchoku Wagyu Ribeye, Hoba Sea Bass, GG Jumbo Prawns and San Marzano Burrata Rigatoni.
The food at TETTO in Abu Dhabi is inspired by the founders’ families and personal meals and is not driven by trends, but by food that they themselves love.
MiZa — short for Mina Zayed — pays homage to one of Abu Dhabi’s most historic neighbourhoods. Located along the waterfront, Mina Zayed has long been a trade hub and a significant part of the capital’s maritime heritage. Now, the space has been reimagined as a community space designed for entrepreneurs, creatives and, of course, restaurateurs. It recently hosted the first-ever Prada Mode in the capital.
