Julien’s Auctions is bringing some of the world’s most iconic celebrity memorabilia to Abu Dhabi.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to actually own a piece of pop-culture history? Because Julien’s Auctions is bringing its inaugural Celebrity & Culture Week to Abu Dhabi, giving collectors and fans the chance not only to see some of the most iconic memorabilia from celebrity and cultural history, but to bid on them and take them home.

Taking place at Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island from 5 to 10 December 2026, the event will combine museum-style exhibitions, live auctions, collector experiences, exclusive events and cultural programming. It will feature three headline auctions, making this more than a one-off celebrity memorabilia sale.

The first, Michael Jackson: The Fashion Legacy, will focus on stage costumes, accessories and wardrobe pieces belonging to the late superstar. For Michael Jackson fans, one of the standout pieces is a pair of loafers worn by the singer in the “Thriller” music video, estimated at almost AED 146,900. Also heading to Abu Dhabi is a bedazzled glove worn by Michael Jackson for his 2002 Vibe magazine cover shoot, estimated at over AED 220,000. Two jackets from his Bad era will also be offered, priced at almost AED 184,000 and AED 293,800 each.

Then comes Princess Diana: Influence, Fashion & A Royal Collection, bringing together garments and personal items associated with the late Princess of Wales. The collection includes a 1995 Catherine Walker evening gown, estimated at AED 1.4 million and suede loafers AED 110,000.

The third auction, Pop Culture Legends, expands the collection across music, film, fashion and contemporary culture. Among the names represented are Kurt Cobain, Bruce Lee, Banksy, Amy Winehouse, Madonna, Eddie Van Halen and Sabrina Carpenter. Highlights include a guitar played by Kurt Cobain, estimated at AED 293,800, and a jacket estimated at AED 146,900.

If you don’t want to spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on a piece of celebrity history, you can still experience the collection through a museum-quality exhibition that brings together all three auctions. The exhibition will use archival imagery, historical context and authenticated provenance to tell the stories behind the objects.

If you’re a collector, a pop-culture fan, or simply curious to see these extraordinary pieces up close, Celebrity & Culture Week is your chance to step inside the world of celebrity history.
