Power Slap returns to Abu Dhabi on Friday, 23 October 2026 as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week.

Back by popular demand, Power Slap – the world’s premier slap-fighting league – is set to make its adrenaline-fuelled return to Abu Dhabi on Friday, 23 October. The event will take place at Space 42 Arena as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, culminating in the highly-anticipated UFC 333.
Details of who will be forming the line-up for Power Slap have not yet been unveiled, but expect some big names to head to Abu Dhabi. The event will form part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, which returns to Yas Island. The week is expected to bring together a mix of UFC-related activities, fan experiences and world-class MMA action, building up to the main event at Etihad Arena.
Following its international debut in the capital in 2024, Power Slap 9: Dumpling Vs Da Crazy Hawaiian drew a sold-out crowd and ended in a jaw-dropping draw between Super Heavyweight stars Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii and former champion Da Crazy Hawaiian. The event proved a smash hit both live and online, generating over 700 million views across social media.
Similarly, Power Slap 16 last year saw Wolverine vs. Klingbeil, wherein fan favourite Ron Wolverine Bata defended his title against Alain The Kryptonian Klingbeil.
For those unversed with Power Slap, it’s an American slap-fighting competition that aired on American TV. The contestants would slap each other in the face. However, the show’s success led to it becoming a live event held in Las Vegas.
