The Middle East debut of Netflix’s hit immersive attraction lands in Abu Dhabi this November.
Stranger Things is leaving Hawkins for Abu Dhabi, as Stranger Things: The Experience arrives on Yas Island in November 2025. Making its Middle East debut, the interactive adventure invites fans of the show to step into the world of Eleven, uncover hidden powers and help save the town from otherworldly danger.
The launch is a collaboration between Theory Eleven Entertainment, Netflix, Miral Destinations and Fever. Following sell-out runs in New York, San Francisco, London, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney, the UAE edition promises the same cinematic scale with a local twist. With a storyline developed by the Duffer Brothers, guests are pulled into the supernatural side of Hawkins, moving through scenes inspired by the Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down. Expect pulse-raising set pieces, impressive audiovisual effects and team challenges that test your mettle as you race to unlock secret abilities and fend off encroaching threats.
Once you have escaped Vecna’s curse, the journey continues at Mix-Tape, a social space that recreates beloved locations from the series. Refuel with a sundae at Scoops Ahoy, try to topple MADMAX’s high score at the Palace Arcade, and browse exclusive merchandise. You can also meet characters from the Stranger Things universe, snap photo ops across nostalgic 80s sets and visit a Stranger Things-themed bar curated for the Abu Dhabi run.
Yas Island will be transformed with faithful recreations of key environments from the show. The experience begins as a guided mission alongside fan-favourite characters, then opens into free exploration where you can linger, play and collect souvenirs. Designed for groups, families and solo fans alike, it blends theatre, technology and interactive gameplay to deliver a high-energy tribute to the series.
The timing couldn’t be better as Stranger Things returns for its fifth and final season this year. Expect the core cast back, joined by Linda Hamilton, as the story ventures deeper into the Upside Down and ties off long-running arcs.
