Café Beirut in Abu Dhabi: A taste of Lebanon is coming to the capital

The concept draws its inspiration from the Golden Age of Beirut.

Fans of Lebanese food, we have some delicious news. Café Beirut is expanding from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. Drawing inspiration from the Golden Age of Beirut in the 1950s, it offers an authentic taste of the city. The opening date and location have not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we know.

Café Beirut is a tribute to Lebanese cuisine. If the Dubai restaurant is anything to go by, diners are in for a nostalgic treat. The setting features black and white portraits, and music by legendary musicians from Fairouz to Sabah.

The Dubai menu spans breakfast, lunch and dinner, and includes hot and cold mezze, salads, grilled dishes and desserts. The mains include Chicken Kabasa, Fried Chicken Escalope and Mawzet with Oriental Rice. Plus, desserts include Baked Baklava, Knefeh and Milk Pie.

Rabih Fakhreddine, Founder and CEO of 7 Management, explained: “At Café Beirut we are remembering the city of our forefathers as it was in its heyday when it was known as the Switzerland of the Middle East. I want somewhere where my daughter can feel that it is her home away from home. Future generations will feel that same pride and nostalgia for their homeland that their fathers and grandfathers felt. We feel this even now and hope that you will experience even a small part of our love and pride at Café Beirut.”

7 Management is based in Beirut and Dubai and is a leading hospitality company in the Middle East. The team includes Reif Othman as the Head of Culinary Consultant and Guy Manoukian as the Chief Entertainment Officer. The brand’s concepts include Lucia’s, The Theater Dubai and Seven Sisters Dubai.
