Book arts clubs to creative writing classes.

Bahrain has always had a deep appreciation for the arts. If you visit, you’ll notice that culture oozes from every corner of the Kingdom. One place that showcases this brilliantly is Al Riwaq Art Space, and it’s got plenty of exciting events lined up for the rest of the year.

Al Riwaq Art Space is a beloved community hub that champions homegrown creativity. Located in the Adliya district, it’s a non-profit space that has been around since 1998, serving as a platform for artists, designers, and culture lovers. From exhibitions and residencies to workshops, talks, and even a concept store and café, Al Riwaq Art Space offers a vibrant calendar of events designed to engage, inspire, and connect.

This August, Al Riwaq is keeping things fresh with a line-up that blends playful experimentation with thoughtful conversation. Here’s a look at what’s coming up.
