Nobu by the Beach will open a luxurious beach club at Atlantis The Royal

Guests can enjoy air-conditioned cabanas, private plunge pools and goodie bags.

Nobu fans, we have news. You will be pleased to hear that you can soon eat, drink and swim Nobu. As the world-famous restaurant brand is expanding its offering, and opening Nobu by the Beach at Atlantis The Royal in early 2023.

Nobu by the Beach brings a modern yet minimalistic approach to its new venue. Drawing on Japanese traditions, it aims to create a one-of-a-kind beach club experience. The oceanfront location will have views of Palm Jumeirah and Dubai’s skyline. Plus, there will be a lagoon pool, outdoor bar and terrace, house music, and, of course, a Nobu restaurant.

Guests can take their pick from stylish sun beds and luxuriously air-conditioned cabanas, which feature their own private plunge pools and overlook the Arabian Sea. The Nobu-branded beach bags will make you feel like a VIP, and include a hat, fan, water bottle, toiletry bag and skincare products. Plus, services cover floating food, in-cabana spa treatments, and jewellery as well as sunglasses cleaning.

Nobu by the beach

The brand brings its Nobu-quality food to Nobu by the Beach, as the menu has been created by Chef de Cuisine, Belkacem Boubekeur and Executive Chef Damien Duviau. Blending Japanese and Peruvian influences, the dishes include sharing plates and light bites.

Sure, there are bento boxes, sandos, bitesize black cod and tacos, but also beach-inspired popsicles, fruit ceviche, monaka and mochi ice cream. Plus, the venue includes a live robatayaki counter – we’re talking fireside cooking – with fresh fish, meat and charcoal grilled skewers.

Celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, explains: “We knew we wanted to continue growing in the hospitality scene and after Nobu Dubai’s huge success at Atlantis, The Palm we were very excited to continue expanding within the destination. Nobu by the Beach is an exciting new concept that we created to offer guests somewhere to relax and enjoy their Nobu experience for longer than just a meal, in a beautiful, casual setting.”

Nobu was created by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro, and opened its first branch in New York in 1994. Nobu Dubai arrived back in 2008, and has gained a reputation for culinary excellence.

Next year looks to be a big year for Nobu. Atlantis’ sister property, Atlantis, The Palm, recently announced that it is opening the world’s biggest Nobu. Nobu Dubai is shifting to the hotel’s Royal Bridge Suite on the 21st floor, and is set to open in January 2023.

Nobu, we cannot wait.
