Abu Dhabi will host the Middle East premiere of Dune: Part Two
The star-studded cast will attend the premiere.
Lights, camera, Abu Dhabi. The capital is gearing up to welcome A listers. Dune: Part Two’s premiere will take place at VOX Cinemas, The Galleria, Al Maryah Island on 18 February. So, if you want to see stars ranging from Timothée Chalamet to Zendaya, here’s what you need to know.
Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two were both filmed in Abu Dhabi. Based on Frank Herbert’s novel, Dune, the original film was released in 2021, and the sequel will be released on 29 February 2024. Dune: Part Two features the Liwa desert as the desert planet Arrakis. Scenes were filmed at almost 20 locations across the Liwa desert in 2022.
Dune: Part Two has a star-studded cast, which we anticipate seeing at the premiere. The list includes Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken and Javier Bardem.
