Jacob & Co opens in Riyadh with Cristiano Ronaldo watch collection
The luxury brand makes its debut in the Kingdom with Ronaldo’s CR7 collection.
Star power is coming to Saudi Arabia’s shopping scene. The luxury watch and jewellery brand, Jacob & Co, opened its first boutique in Saudi Arabia. To celebrate the opening, it launched with the limited-edition Cristiano Ronaldo’s CR7 collection, and a special guest in the form of Ronaldo himself.
Jacob & Co’s first store in the Kingdom is located on Olaya Main Street, Akariya Plaza. If you want to get your wrists on the Cristiano CR7 collection, it is available to pre-order. Warning: the pieces range between $28,000 and $145,000.
The collaboration is fitting, as the footballing legend Cristiano has recently made Saudi Arabia his home. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Saudi football team Al Nassr, and can be spotted playing matches in the Kingdom.

Plus, when Cristiano arrived in Saudi Arabia, he was gifted Jacob & Co’s Caviar Tourbillion Tsavorites watch. The emerald green watch – fitting for Saudi Founding Day – oozes luxury, as it boasts 389 gems that are the exact same colour and a price tag of $770,000.

Jacob & Co was founded in 1986, and the flagship boutique is in New York, United States. Today, the brand is loved by celebrities, especially rappers, and has been name-dropped in songs. “I went to Jacob an hour after I got my advance” raps Kanye West in Touch the Sky, and “Jacob the jeweller, baubles” is in Beyonce and Jay Z’s in Upgrade U.
